Where can I find real and lasting hope?

There are few emotions more powerful than hope.
But these days, hope often feels hard to come by.

Hope Explored is an invitation to think through what is most important in life.

The three interactive sessions use stunning films shot all over the globe, with time for you to ask any questions you like, or to sit back quietly and just watch and listen.

Hope Explored will help you uncover what you’re really living for,
and to consider how Christian faith might change the equation.

From time to time Christ Church Hawthorn runs a variety of courses.

This time we’re delighted to run ‘Hope Explored’.

The series of three sessions is free - there is no charge.

Watch for details … this course was last conducted in September 2024.

What happens in a Hope Explored session?

Each meeting includes friendly greetings with people from our community, opportunities to ask whatever questions you like or simply sit back and listen. The level of interaction is up to you! There’s a short video to watch together, and then we chat about what has been presented. We hope you’ll stay for the hour or so, but of course you’re free to leave at any time and we promise not to run overtime. See the short video (further below) showing what to expect in a meeting.

Maybe you’re an atheist, or a Christian, or anywhere in between. Maybe you go to church, or you don’t. You will not be pressured to commit to anything.

Visit the Hope Explored website for more detailed information, resources and informative videos.
